I volunteered this morning for Habit for Humanity. There were at the training center getting it finish painted and ready for this coming year. I had a wonderful and met some great people.

My buddy Clint come over to supervisor in burn and to hang out. I burned some old letters. This was on of the things for my new project " Beka's 101 things in 1001 days"

It never got really big, but this was just the start. I know come summer I have a few more things I like to burn also.

Thank you all for following me through 2009. It has been an amazing experience and I am glad I choose to do this. At time it became a chore and I wanted to give up. But I never did because I did not want to give up on this. As it comes to the end I am so happy I finished out the project. I will not be fully continue this project for 2010. I am going to keep this blog open to continue posting pictures of my life in 2010. I am going to be working on my 101 things in 1001 days for the next 2.5+ years. NEW YEAR EVE! All the plans I had end up falling through but I wanted to go to a Comedy show and I still went. I am glad that I went to the show and had a great time .

I went to Altoona Park tonight to see the lights. I have been by it a few times now but I stopped to enjoy it. The pictures really do not do it justice. I will say it was really cold thou walking around out there. But I love Christmas lights.

I got a new computer at work. It not new but new to me. I end up losing some of my information from my old one but was able to get on the right track but the end of the day. They are still working on getting a printer set up for me.

With my four day weekend I decided to start getting things ready for my 101 things. I signed up for postcrossing. I requested my first address even thou it wont count yet. Off to find post cards now, what a job. Several stops and no luck I head to the truck stop on the out skirts of town. And I was able to find a couple that I liked there.

Merry Christmas to all!

This year was an odd year, not feeling very jolly and Christmas. I missed my family and friends. But looking at the weather out side I am ok where I am at. And thankful to a brave friend to come keep my company. But on to the good stuff. I got the griddle I have wanted for a while and also Skip-Bo a card game. I also got two gift cards. And a little wooden Jesus fish.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE! Great I go to leave and see all this snow. I figured it was not to bad and I be able to get out. I went to clean off the car and everything.

And well as you can see I made it forward and one spot over and that took me 30 minutes to do. I was hoping to get out but I guess I am stuck in my apartment. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to get out.

Holly called an Emergency staff meeting at 3 pm. We were all a little on edge about it. Holly and Ann came in with two big boxes. They said they due to our wonderful Christmas gift to them, they wanted to Thank You. They said they wrote something they are thankful for about all of us. They started to pace out the tins, come to find out at the bottom of the tins was an envelope with a letter from Stacy the CEO and a bonus check.

I stayed in Eau Claire at Dave's tonight. I am very thankful for being able to stay there and relax all day. Dave's dogs had a puppy a few weeks ago and he such a cuddler and laid with me most of the night and followed me around the house.

Last night it started to snow, well at 5:30 in the morning I got a phone call saying work was closed to the the snow storm. I went to look out side to see how much snow we really got and this is what I found. We got at least a a foot of snow. And with the wind it caused it to be a very bad day.

Thursday night my phone stop charging with my home charge. I was able to still charge it in the car at least. Saturday I went to the Menomonie store and they sent me to the Eau Claire store to get a new phone with my warranty. Likely they had a Scope in stock and I was able to walk out with my new phone.

We had the Holiday Open House today at work. It was a long crazy busy day. We had two serving lines and three different groups playing music around the building. It was very nice and I got to see the clients with some of their families.

Jeremy and I went bowling in Eau Claire. After dinner we went back to his place and played Phase 10. Jeremy won at bowling but I beat him at Phase 10.

I was back from for the Thanksgiving. It is kind of odd to see how things have changed. Much has not changed since I was there in June. But I figure I should you 3 place there were big to me in High School.

I was at the bowling alley all the time in High School. If it was during the week to watch my friend who were on leagues or Friday night for Black Light Bowling. I have lot of good and bad memories there.

While in High School this was the cool place to hang out. It was the Rhinelnder Youth Center AKA Getaway. The shut it down and the collision company took
over the lot. I met my first boyfriend here. I learn to play pool and techno dance here also.

My first real job in High School. i worked for my mom's daycare but Sportsman Cafe was the first place I worked out side of family work. The family that own Sportsman had kids in my mom's daycare. I met my best friend Stacy here.

For work, I decided that the groups we going to do Turkey Themed Lunches for two weeks. Because turkey takes so long to cook, I got a BIG (24 lb) turkey to cook up and divide between all of the groups.

Thankfully Cherise help me clean the turkey and get it all ready to cook. By time it was done cooking it was falling off the bone.

My good friend, Jess (aka jesstagirl) awarded me an award for being a Creative Blogger. The award is to post 7 random facts about myself and post them. Due to the fact that this is a photo blog, I decided to take pictures of some of the random facts.

1) I was born in Springfield, IL. Springfield is the capital of IL. Since people from IL are called "Fibs", I say I am a "Cap Fib."

2) I love to cooks. I now cook at work and still want to come home and cook. I love making Swiss Steak, Hashbrown Casserole, Taco Potatoes, cookies and much more.

3) Our family dogs name is Duffy. He got the name Duffy due to the fact he ran into walls all the time when we first got him.

4) I HATE my bed not being made. LoL! I was not the last one out of bed this morning.

5) I kant speil for the life of me. My dad would help proof read my paper for school.

6) I am perfection with thing in my life. I like to be in control and keep thing in order.

7) I still have my stuffed monkey from when I was a kid. His name is Boob! :)

I started training my replacement staff today. She is taking over the 4th for me. This gives her only a week but she working over 40 hours this week so hopefully she be ready.
